The 16th edition of the Sansad Ratna Awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, 9th September 2026, in New Delhi. Union Ministers Shri Kishan Reddy and Dr Sukanta Majumdar, along with former Chief Justice of India Justice B R Gavai, are the chief guests. Shri Hansraj G. Ahir, Chairman of the Jury Committee, will preside over the event.
12 individual MPs and 4 Parliamentary Committees will receive the Sansad Ratna Awards 2026. From this year, a new category of award, "Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Jan Seva Puraskar", is introduced for organisations and individuals who outstandingly serve the nation. This year, the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) received this award.
