Priyadharshni Rahul is a practising Advocate and Central Government Counsel at the Supreme Court of India. She serves as the Assistant Standing Counsel for the New Delhi Municipal Committee (NDMC) and Counsel for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).

Notable Legal Cases and Public Interest Litigations (PILs)

She has represented several pivotal cases in the Supreme Court of India, including:

  • A PIL requesting a dedicated Ministry for Senior Citizens in India.
  • Representing the main petitioner to establish Navodhaya Schools in Tamil Nadu to provide free education to rural students.
  • A PIL representing a villager from Thiruchendurai Village regarding a 1300-year-old temple, supporting the Waqf Amendment Bill 2025.

  • International Address: Invited to Kuwait to address world Women Ambassadors on “Empowering Talk on Women” alongside Dr Fauzia Khan, MP.
  • Media Expert: Served as a panel guest in Chennai to clarify the Indus Water Treaty ("Operation Sindoor").
  • Human Rights Advocacy: Led the December 2024 protest in Delhi against the attack on Hindus in Bangladesh.
